UTSA Startup Grind to Feature Active Capital and FunnelAI

Startup Grind UTSA will host its fireside chat April 24 at 6:30 p.m. with guest speakers Cat Dizon, co-founder and partner at venture capital firm Active Capital talking with the co-founders of artificial intelligence (AI) startup FunnelAI, Sridhar Kamma and Sujatha Kamma. FunnelAI announced March 27 that it received a $1.5 million seed round led by the San Antonio based venture capital firm Active Capital. UTSA Startup Grind Chapter Launches with Lorenzo Gomez as Guest Speaker

There is a new Startup Grind chapter in San Antonio, only this time, it is launching on campus at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Startup Grind UTSA will host its first event on February 20 at 7 p.m. at the university's College of Business. The chapter is planning a fireside chat with guest speaker Lorenzo Gomez, author, chief executive officer of newly formed Geekdom Media, and chairman of Geekdom, one of the largest co-working spaces in Texas.
