Lockheed Martin Launches New Cyber Facility at Port San Antonio

Lockheed Martin has opened its development center in Port San Antonio's new cybersecurity-centric building known as Project Tech. The largest U.S. defense contractor is leasing 15,000 square feet in the 90,000-square-foot cybersecurity-focused facility located on the Port’s campus across the street from the 24th Air Force’s cyber command.The first tenant to sign a lease in the Project Tech building, Lockheed Martin has designed the space to serve as laboratories for the exploratory work they do for clients such as the 24th and 25th Air Force in San Antonio and the National Security Agency (NSA) location in Texas, according to Lockheed Martin vice president of spectrum convergence, Deon Viergutz.
